Data is becoming the most valuable asset in the world. Decentralized infrastructure can minimize the trust needed to store, process and own that data, in the same way that blockchains decentralized transactions.

What is high value data
High value data refers to data that is extremely valuable to an organization or individual due to its potential to significantly impact lives - from trading information, passwords, identity, trade secrets and personalized AI - high value data is woven into the infrastructure of our society.
Who is behind the project
The project has attract some of the top talent in tech, including the Co-Founder of Hedera Hashgraph (Andrew Masanto), the Founding Engineer of Uber (Conrad Whelan), Founder of Indiegogo (Slava Rubin), Associate General Counsel of Coinbase (Lindsay Danas Cohen), and several other high profile team members and advisors.

Project Highlights
Current highlights of the project include:
- TechCrunch and The Block announced the close of Nillionâs $25mm fundraise, which was achieved at the height of the recent bear market.
- Nillion was featured on the front page of Cointelegraph as a new infrastructure network that expands the decentralized landscape beyond blockchain, and tweeted about it here.
- The Block Research released a research report called âNillion, the Decentralized Computation Layerâ, that explores its core tech and potential implications for Web3.
- The Founding Engineer of Uber, Conrad Whelan, joined as Nillion CTO as reported by Business Insider (for your convenience, here is the article not behind a paywall) and other major news publications. Conrad has been invited to lecture at Oxford University, speak on Dave Aspreyâs Human Upgrade Podcast, and wrote a Medium post about going from Uber to Nillion.
- CoinDesk announced on their homepage that the Founder of Indiegogo, Slava Rubin, joined Nillion as Chief Business Officer. The news was picked up widely by the press and several interesting articles resulted.
- The associate General Counsel at Coinbase, Lindsay Danas Cohen, joined as Nillionâs General Counsel. The news was picked up by the two biggest law publications in the world â law.com and law360.com (see article behind paywall here and here) as well as many leading crypto news channels.
- Cointelegraph got wind of the hires and wrote an article about how the top web2 talent is coming to Nillion.
- The Head of Innovation Partnerships and Crypto at Nike, Mark McDermott, joined as Nillionâs Head of Ecosystem.
- Nillion recently won CoinListâs Seed Program. Only 5 projects out of hundreds of applications were accepted. CoinList Tweeted about it here. Nillionâs token will therefore likely have the option of launching through CoinList.
- Nillion was selected for Polygon Co-Founderâs Web3 Accelerator Program, Beacon where only 13 startups from over 1,000 applications were accepted.
- And weâve now done a number of talks across many leading universities including Oxford University, Cambridge University, Columbia and Wharton and just presented at Amazon HQ in early November.
- Recently Nillions Co-founder Dr Miguel De Vega spoke at the first DeCompute MPC conference in Singapore. His talk âBuilding Trust-Minimized MPC Protocolsâ
